Venturing Into Excellence ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Brotherhood of Excellence System (BOES) platform ("the platform"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA) of South Africa.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information that you provide when registering on the platform, including your full name, date of birth, email address, phone number, school, grade, home address, interests, and guardian details. We also collect attendance records, challenge submissions, quiz responses, and points and badges earned through participation.
3. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used to manage your registration and participation, track attendance and progress, communicate important programme updates, send achievement notifications via SMS, and produce aggregated reports to improve our programmes. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. Sharing of Information
We may share your information with facilitators and programme administrators involved in your sessions, and with service providers (such as SMS providers) who help us operate the platform. These parties are only given the information necessary to perform their roles and are required to keep it confidential.
5. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. Access to your data is restricted to authorised personnel and is governed by role-based permissions.
6. Your Rights

We retain your personal information for as long as you are an active participant in our programmes, and thereafter only for as long as necessary to meet legal, operational, or reporting requirements.
